The centre is open Monday to Friday
from 7.30 am – 5.30pm.
We will be closed on public holidays.
The educators believe that children learn and develop in an early childhood environment where they are happy and secure. We believe that the quality of the physical environment is essential to the well-being of the chidlren and staff and that coupled with a quality educational programme, the parents will be confident that the choices they have made for their child's education and care are the right ones.
All of the child's food and drink is provided by the centre, apart from babies formula. The centre provides nutritious meals in accordance with the ministry's healthy eating guidelines.

Our aim is for the children to feel empowered by making their own food choices and gain an understanding of how to care for their bodies. children play an active role in the cooking a preparation of food and growing fruit and vegetables.

The Management and Staff at Smart Start aim to provide high quality early childhood care and education for young children and a supportive environment for parents and whanau. We intend to achieve this by providing superior facilities, quality educational equipment and programmes and well qualified and caring teaching staff.

We also offer "20 hours ECE" subsidy.
